The Malinda Mims State Farm Agency proudly serves the City of Novi, MI, alongside neighboring communities. Growing up, I loved being around my friends and family, reading books, journaling, winning spelling bees and exploring new places on Saturday afternoons. Being one out of eight kids in the family and the oldest girl, I always felt the need to be a role model to my siblings. This made me grow into the enterprising and outgoing, family-oriented woman I am today. In school, I enjoyed learning and earning good grades but also socializing and extracurricular activities. I am proud to say that I am a graduate and active alumni of Detroit Renaissance High School! I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Cleary University in Michigan and worked as a salesperson and trainer in the pharmaceutical field for 15 years thereafter. The pharmaceutical industry gave me the opportunity to help people and build strong relationships overall that are still intact today. What brings me the most joy has been being a mom of two awesome sons and watching our family grow. I also enjoy travelling and being active in my Sorority (Delta Sigma Theta), church, groups and many professional and community service organizations.

Being a native Detroiter and member of the Novi Chamber of Commerce, I perceive the particular difficulties we may face within our local, neighboring areas. My team serves the communities of Novi, Walled Lake, Farmington (Hills), South Lyon, New Hudson, Milford, Northville, West Bloomfield, Bloomfield, Wixom, Commerce Township, Dearborn (Heights), Detroit, Southfield, Ann Arbor and more.
